Twitter is a great social media platform for netwroking. I've met some of my closest friends and classmates on the app by simply having similar interests. I think it's a great tool to bond with like-minded people. I can see myself using Twitter in my desired career to meet other teachers and learn different teaching stlyes.

Digital divide can cause a hinderance to students' education. Since all students may not have access to the same resources it can be difficult for students to learn. The pandemic was evidence of that, since students were forced onto remote learning, many can testify that it has been harder to learn. In  my classroom I would want students to let me know if they may not have internet or a computer if needed in the classroom so that I can accomodate them.

Two software tools I would use in my clasroom are onenote and edmodo. One note is a great tool for taking notes. It allows studnets to take all notes on their computers and store it on the software program as well. Edmodo is a great communication tool where students can also communicate with me and each other.

I think badges are great for the classroom. We often see punishments in schools and not much praising. I think badges are a great way for studets to know that they are doing a great job. I've earned a basge on Typing. com , when I was in highschool.

  1. Hi Jamauri, I agree that Twitter is a great way to connect with people who share common interests with you. Also, the pandemic is a great example of how prevalent technology can be within education today, and it definitely has highlighted the digital divide. I also agree that badges are useful in letting students know they're making progress in the classroom!
