Copy right is using the work of someone else without their permission. Once a piece of work is published by someone it become copy righted. To use the work of someone else you must ask for permission. There are exceptions to Copy right found under the Fair Use policy. The fair use policy allows exceptions to the rule such as parodies, comments, researching, reporting, and teaching.

 

Technology implementation issues such as cyber bullying and decreased productivity are things that would be addressed in my future classroom. Cyber bullying is something I would not tolerate. Cyber bullying could cause students to not want to perform in class at all. Decreased productivity is another factor that I would address. Switching from paper to computers shouldn't mean that students do less work. I would expect to see the same if not better productivity from students.

 

I learned many things working on the newspaper assignment. I learned how to make a banner using the Canva website. I learned how to insert a functioning hyperlink. I learned how to use WordArt. I also learned how to write the body of a work using the column tool.

  1. Decreased productivity is certainly something to look out for when adding technology into the classroom. Keeping expectations high, as you note, is a great way of moderating that.
